Being in pain every month, feeling like a different person in your luteal phase, or bleeding so heavily you don’t want to leave home are not “normal parts of being a woman”. These are real concerns and the last thing you need is another practitioner that dismisses and invalidates them.
Many have had the experience of being offered the birth control pill as a “treatment” for conditions like PCOS, endometriosis, PMS, PMDD and irregular bleeding. While this may aide in symptom management, it is not treating the underlying condition. And for many of us the pill is not well tolerated, or completely effective at managing those symptoms.
I work to get to the root of these hormonal conditions. Investigating how factors like hormone fluctuations, inflammation, insulin, and gut health can impact their severity. In turn, we can alleviate symptoms while simultaneously improving overall health and well being.

Weight loss is rarely as simple as calories in vs. calories out. There are many processes happening within our bodies that alter how those calories are being used or stored. The most important step with overcoming weight loss resistance is to identify the cause of the resistance.
